 We will be staying in a wonderful hotel overlooking the highland town of Pitlochry in the heart of Perthshire. Standing in its own extensive grounds the prominent position provides a delightful vista overlooking the surrounding countryside. A friendly welcome, excellent food and the quiet comfort that the hotel offers are a wonderful compliment to the area. All the rooms are ensuite and are equipped with radios, colour televisions with satellite, hair dryers and hospitality trays. The centre also has a reception lounge, a lounge bar, restaurant and a bar extensively stocked with highland malts!

Typical walking programme: The famous countryside has so much to offer has many differing aspects to offer the walker. The salmon rich rivers and waterfalls flow through narrow tree lined gorges and into the lochs and reservoirs of the wider river valleys. There is a vast network of footpaths that lead through the lowland scenery and onto the open hills beyond, the alpine nature reserves of Ben Lawers, or the peoples favourite Schiehallion

Around the Hotel: Pilochry is an excellent base to explore this delightful district. The dam and fish ladder, Blair Athol & Edradour Distilleries are all within the town. In addition the world famous Pitlochry Festival Theatre has a comprehensive diary of events and the Pass of Killiecrankie Visotor Centre and Blair Castle are just up the road.
