The en-suite in a Victorian Vicarage is in the centre of the bustling village of Castleton. The house has a number of 4 bedded rooms in bunk style accommodation. Next door is the YHA where all of our meals will be provided. They can cater for a wide variety of tastes and diets, but in general they have a good reputation for wholesome and appetising meals. You can also rest assured that although attached to the YHA there is no curfew, in this self-contained accommodation. There is also a kitchen and lounge in the vicarage so you can relax, should you not wish to explore the many pubs in the village at night!

The typical walking programme:  The area is perfect for all levels and ability of walkers, with pleasant gentle strolls, and also some more challenging walks over the moors. To allow you to choose a walk that suits you best, WalkWise UK will provide a minimum of two walks on each day, led by professional and knowledgeable walking guides. On both days there will be a hard walk of 10-12 miles and a easier walk of 6-8 miles with less ascent.  We can offer a full range of grades at this centre please check that the grades offered are suitable for your group.

Around the hotel: For the non-walker, the house is within the interesting village of Castleton. There are a myriad of typically picturesque villages to explore. In addition there are numerous caverns and caves, as well as cafes, stately homes, museums to be visited.
