Accommodation Style: Budget Accommodation The lodge is set amongst the rolling hills of ‘The Heart of Wales’, an ideal walking destination. The lodge offers full amenities to guest house standards. Real beds, no bunks, are fully made up with fresh linen, including duvets. The property has central heating as well as a large open fire. The spacious lounge has a television and video just in case you’re missing your favourite programme while partying in the Stonecroft Inn; next door. A superb traditional country pub. It has a reputation for great food and beer. The Inn also hosts quality live music most Saturday evenings. This package can be 'self guided'. To allow you to choose a walk that suits you best, WalkWise UK will provide a minimum of two walks on each day, led by professional and knowledgeable walking guides. On both days there will be a hard walk of 10-12 miles and an easier walk of 6-8 miles with less ascent. We can offer a full range of grades at this centre please check that the grades offered are suitable for your group. Around the lodge: Just seven minutes walk from Llanwrtyd Wells Railway Station, this is the official "Smallest town in Britain"…so you will not get lost. Other activities enjoyed independently include pony trekking, horse riding, cycling, fishing, bird watching (famed Red Kite country) and photography. |
