The area around the house is ideal for walking and some of the walks will start from the house. However, on one of the days the walks will start from another location, e.g. Goathland, to allow the walkers to explore different terrain.

Around the Centre: The village of Cloughton has a couple of very accommodating country pubs, and they are just a short stroll from the centre. Scarborough is also just a few miles away.
