As Ilfracombe itself nestles amongst the rugged cliffs of the Devon coast, we will exploit the location of the centre to the maximum with a walk along some of the most scenic coastal routes in England. In fact the South West Coastal path has been officially recognised as one of the finest national trails in the UK.. In contrast we can also head inland to explore Exmoor with its moors, woodlands and valleys, where we will hope to see the red deer and ponies not to mention endeavouring to search out the best Cream Teas in the area!

To allow you to get the most from your walk, WalkWise UK will provide a professional and knowledgeable walking guide for each day. The walks have been chosen to allow some flexibility, so that they can be catered to the needs of the group. In addition the routes have been selected to allow you to experience the variety of scenery that so epitomises the area. The Saturday walk will be around 9-10 miles, whilst the Sunday walk will be slightly shorter, around 8 miles with less ascent. The Sunday walk could finish a little earlier (if required) to enable them to get home. Own transport may be taken to the start of the walks.
