Wales is a  fascinating part of the British Isles.  The cultural identity of Wales, with its own language and Celtic traditions are immediately evident throughout the country.  Throughout its history this country has seen many battles resulting in numerous castles that dot the skyline; mostly built during the reign of Edward I.

Some of Britain's best loved walking can be found in the Welsh countryside.  It varies from mountain massifs of the rugged Snowdonia , open moorland of the Brecon Beacons, through to the lush valleys and lakes around Bala in central Wales.  That's not forgetting the ubiquitous and spectacular, beaches and coves that form the dramatic coastline.
