Seems to have been a rather successful weekend again. But then again with the wobbly wine tasting on the saturday evening, its hardly surprising most people seem to have gone home smiling. Once again the wintery conditions made life interesting for the guides and a few last minute alterations to the routes, were very sensible and enabled everyone to see the most of the stunning Lake District in all its finery! Well on the saturday anyway, I dont think there was much of a view at all during the sunday white outs! Even our Ultimate walkers decided upon a more sensible course due to the fresh snow! However hours of ploughing over the fells took its toll but everyone returned happy if a little tired. On the positive side on the winter fat reserves took a hammering and everyone went home a dress size smaller-well shaun did anyway!!!
