Well, what can I say, only perfect, great days great nights-such terms seem to understate the reality. Was it only a week! It passed so quickly yet we did soooo very much.... Check out the photos it was amazing!!!
To just mention the highlights will take a while, so what was it for me, watching the sea eagles diving for fish, the spicers little faces light up as the ribs danced their way across the sea, the smile on Steves face after he was assaulted on the hill, Sandra appearing from the woods with 3 men, the nervous energy as the least hard walk summited the old man of storr in gale force winds, a common seal waving to the boat, an otter playing hide and seek and beating us all, no my highlight had to be emily correcting my pronounciation of everything scottish at every meal time-apologies for I am only a lowly mountain guide!!!
So where did we go and what did we do, everything and nothing, the hardest walkers climbed everything in sight inlcuding Bruck na Frith, Blaven Scurr Alastair, only been beaten by icy boiler plating and knife edge edges-does that sound right to you!
The harder walkers were no less daunted and acheived numerous peaks themselves, including Bruc, Scurr na Stri, 5 red Cullins and the Quarang too. Meanwhile the hard walkers toook it all a little slower but ploughed onwards through every adversary, they sailed to the Isle of Rassay, completed two coast to coasts, one the main land from Balmacara to Plockton, another from Elgol, loch Carusk to the Slig and also explored the amazing beauty of the Susnish Penninsular... only perfect!!!
So overall a combination of amazing variety of walking, lots of happy hikers, smiles laughs, moments of adversary, aches, pain, suffering, a perfect week with days spent working a thirst and an appetite and evening satisfying those cravings!!!
Thanks to you all, a GREAT GREAT week, it was a pleasure to share it all with you, hope to see you all sometime very very soon for some more of the same!!!
